Girl Scouts help nab thief outside Tennessee Walmart




Thanks to the girls paying close attention, cops caught the man, now charged with shoplifting, fleeing, and two counts of assault.

These girls deserve a badge.

Four members of Girl Scouts Troop 20057 in Tennessee helped police catch a thief after the man bolted past their cookie sale outside a Walmart in Knoxville.

The four girls were selling their popular cookies outside the store on Sunday when a shoplifter bolted out of the Walmart, passing their table on his way out.

Security and police quickly followed, and the girls were able to tell officers which way the man ran and what he was wearing.

“I didn’t really know that he was shoplifting, but I could tell something was wrong,” troop member Rachel Osucha told WBIR-TV.

Emma Peck, another troop said the man “just ran out of nowhere and then we were pointing out where he went and what he was wearing.”
