We know that the politicians care more about money than dead children, that’s been established.  Kids will keep being killed, we will be sad about it, and then, no one will do anything.  Another child was shot by a gun that never should have been available, and we’re going to tell you the story below.  But maybe one day, we will understand that kids killing kids is not good for the future of our country.

For at least the third time this month, a young child has shot and killed someone. On Tuesday afternoon, a five-year-old boy fatally shot his two-year-old sister in Cumberland County, Kentucky with .22 rifle the five-year-old was given as a gift.

“It’s a Crickett,” Cumberland County Coroner Gary White told the Lexington Herald-Leader. “It’s a little rifle for a kid.”

The rifle, which was usually stored in one of the home’s corners, was inadvertently left loaded, according to White. The boy’s mother was home at the time of the shooting.

“The little boy’s used to shooting the little gun,” White said, before saying the shooting will be ruled accidental. “Just one of those crazy accidents.”

Just one of those crazy accidents. You know, the completely unpredictable kind of accident that occurs when you give a five-year-old a rifle and leave it lying around the house, unattended.

A Four-Year-Old Shoots and Kills Deputy’s Wife at Weekend BBQ

Guns don’t kill people—no, they do. One did this past Saturday, in the 26,000-person town of… Read…

If this sounds familiar, it’s because, sadly, it is. Earlier this month, a four-year-old shot and killed a deputy’s wife with a handgun. The next day a two-year-old reportedly shot his mother in the stomach with a 9mm Glock. Two days later, another four-year-old shot a six-year-old in the head, killing him.

  1. How can a 2 yr old shoot off a glock. I have problems shooting a glock at the shooting range. It is my opinion that something is wrong with this picture. Further investigation is needed.Just my opinion. The rifle story isn’t the complete story, something else is missing. As I always saw there are three sides to a story, their side, the other side and the truth. We need the whole story instead of bits and pieces.

  2. Why did a 5yr old need a rifle? Maybe I’m a little old fashioned but is that legal?

  3. I am 57 years old and I have never known any black parents who would buy their small child a rifle. My brother got a 22 rifle at the age of 16 when he decided to go hunting with stepfather. These children with guns given to them happen to be white and it’s sad because when they become older they want to kill. What the hell do a 5 year old needs with a rifle so sad.
