A young woman was beaten to death while waiting outside at a club in Santa Ana, California. Kim Pham, 23-years-old was waiting in line at a club and brutally beaten following an argument with a group of people. She was declared brain dead that night and died from the injuries.

A suspect has been arrested for suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and causing great bodily harm. Video footage from a phone camera helped ID the suspect. However, there are four more suspects that the police are looking for that might have been involved with the beating. These suspects are two women and two men. The police are asking anyone with more phone footage to come forward. Authorities say the suspects are in their 20’s and Hispanic. The police are also asking anyone with additional information to come forward.

An argument with another woman prompted the fight that led to Pham’s death. Pham was knocked to the ground by two to three women and they proceeded to assault her, which included kicking her. She was unconscious and rushed to the hospital. Pham was declared brain dead by doctors the next day according to a Facebook post by her sister.

“Downtown, Inc., a group of local Santa Ana leaders, business owners and residents, and representatives from the venue where the incident took place are offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrests of the individuals responsible for Pham’s attack.”

Bouncers and onlookers tried to break up the fight, but were unsuccessful. The assailants ran after the attack leaving Kim Pham on the ground unconscious.

Friends and relatives are asking anyone with information to please help. Posters and flowers have been placed outside the club. The club has also posted on its Facebook page asking for information and urging witnesses to contact the authorities.
