DORAL, Fla. – Tiger Woods’ back didn’t stop him from playing.
Mother Nature did.
The warning horn blew Thursday at the Blue Monster to suspended play at 2:22 p.m. with Woods on his seventh hole. A large storm front was moving in from the west and play was suspended until Friday.
Woods, who withdrew after 13 holes in the final round of the Honda Classic last week because of lower back problems and back spasms, showed no discomfort during his warm up session and then through six holes.
