What would you do if you found out that your boyfriend or husband was having sex with your child?  This was the dilemma faced by a woman who claims that her husband was sleeping with her 7-year old daughter.  Tatanysha Hedmon, a 40-year old woman in Washington, is now facing multiple charges for allegedl setting her husband on fire after finding out that he was molesting her daughter.

The woman was seen on camera at the gas station buying gasoline just a few hours before the incident took place.  According to police, the woman doused her sleeping husband with gasoline and immediately lit a match.  Surveillance video showed him going into a store asking for help after the fire had been put out.

Vincent Phillips is the victim of the burning and police are still investigating the child’s mother’s claim that he harmed the child.   According to KOMO, the woman claimed that she set him on fire because “shooting him would have been too nice.”

Police say that Phillips is in the hospital right now, facing charges of first-degree molestation.  His wife is in jail for arson.  So, it appears that the entire family is going to struggle, especially the young victim in the middle of it all.  So sad.

What would you do if you were in her situation?

  1. Good for her

  2. 1st. The child needs psychological help. Both parents out of the picture for maybe a looong while.
The lady broke the law, lets set emotions to the side. We cannot take the law in our own hands that why we have court systems set up. ” Vengence is mind saith the LORD”

    • @La’keshia – while I may agree about not taking the law into our own hands, let me ask you something. How has that been working for US lately? Maybe the LORD put that gas can in her hands to make that disgusting molester pay dearly for what he has done. And there is also a saying “an eye for an eye”.
I feel bad for her child, who is the TRUE victim in this. But, if you have never been in that situation, you can’t judge this woman. I would come with a BIG BAG OF HURT and do some very serious damage to someone if they ever hurt my child. And I would spite them with serious anger.

  3. I can fully understand the mother mind set, but in a crises like this, one has to keep a calm/cool head. The mother should had brought the law in to investigate and then made sure her daughter received the help she will desperately need. The mother is no help to the daughter, since she was arrested for firing up the low life. Women, stop being so desperate just to have a piece of meat in under your roof. Some men are on the prowl seeking lonely women, so they can do exactly what this low life is alleged to have committed. Women if you need a piece of meat that bad, go to his place, your children do not have to meet every Tom, Dick, and Harry you encounter.

  4. A can of lye in scalding hot water would have done the done.

  5. IN MY OPINION, THIS MOTHER MADE HER OWN JUSTICE. SHE DID NOT WANT HER HUSBAND TO DIE. WHEN WE LOOKS AT HIMSELF HE’D WISH HE HAD. LET THIS BE A REMINDER TO ALL THE WEIRDOS IN THE WORLD.

  8. How about that fool in the shower, baby oil on the bathroom floor and me with a HUGE leather belt. I’d tap that arse with a quickness and for a LONG time. Thereafter, the police can have him.

  9. Truth be told I don’t feel she did nothing wrong well actually she did do something wrong not killing him.in my eyes deserve death thats just my opinuin.hopefully that little girl get the help she needs and be reunited with her mom.hopefully her mom get the charges dropped.
